Standing Committees and Groups

Submission Deadlines

Submissions must be submitted to the Office of the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education on or before the first of the month to be considered at that month's meeting (i.e., in order to be on the September 21 agenda, proposals must be recived by September 1.) If your submission arrives after the first of the month, it will not be considered until the following month’s meeting.

Course Approval

New courses must be approved by the UUCC’s December meeting to be offered in the following spring semester, and by the May meeting to be offered in the following summer and fall semesters.

Curriculum Change Approval (< 15 credit hours)

Curriculum changes of less than 15 credit hours must be approved by the UUCC’s February meeting to take effect the following academic year.

Curriculum Change Approval (> 15 credit hours) and New Programs

Curriculum changes of greater than 15 credit hours and new programs must be approved by the UUCC, SUNY, and the State Education Department (SED) by February to take effect the following academic year. Please allow ample time for these changes to be processed.
