Service Excellence Celebration 2000 Project Title: University Services Welcome Website for New Employees Project Description: The Welcome Website is an easy-to-use, well-organized portal for accessing information about the University Services workplace. Accessible at http://wings.buffalo.edu/univserv/welcome, the website extends a welcome message to new employees, introduces them to University Services training programs and initiatives, gives them a pictorial view of where they “fit” within UB and University Services organizations, and guides them to employee benefits and policies. The website gives all employees—new and seasoned alike—positive workplace information, enhances UB’s IT culture, and reinforces University Services’ position that people are our most important asset.
