EVENTS:  IREWG Fourth Annual Celebration of Scholarship on Women and Gender

On April 20, 2001, Uncrowned Queens co-chairs Dr. Peggy Brooks-Bertram (right) and Dr. Barbara Seals Nevergold (left) participated in the Fourth Annual Celebration of Scholarship on Women and Gender sponsored by the Institute for Research and Education on Women and Gender (IREWG).  IREWG co-directors Suzanne Laychock and Isabel Marcus had this to say about Dr's. Brooks-Bertram and Nevergold's presentation.

"Your poster was a valuable addition to the array of high-caliber work on gender that is conducted through the University at Buffalo and in the community.  Your participation contributed to increasing the visibility of our scholarship on gender.  Moreover, your thoughtful and entertaining presentation was a delightful way for your friends and colleagues to meet you and learn about your work.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the Celebration due to your creative efforts."
