Miss Hamilton is noted in an article written by the late Rev. J. Edward Nash on Buffalo’s early Black inhabitants, as one of the oldest clerks, in service, in the Buffalo Public Library. Miss Hamilton is said to have been, at the time of the article, in charge of one of the Library’s departments. ( Buffalo Star: 8-16-40)
