BIOGRAPHY:  Queenosob Hashi

My name is Queenosob Hashi and currently a senior at City Honors.   My extracurricular activities include a few clubs in my school:  Model UN, African dance and Youth Alive.  This spring I plan on playing tennis for my school.  For the past year, I have participated in the University at Buffalo Biomedical STEP Program and the Rising to Distinction Program at Buffalo Prep.   I participate in numerous activities in my community such as teaching Somali children how to read and write.   On April 7th, I will be competing in the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in the category of medicine, writing and dance.  Presently, I am doing research in a lab located at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
