
BIOGRAPHY: Ronald H. Fleming

Ronald H. Fleming is a graduate of Buffalo’s East High School. He was a member of the graduating class of 1968 from Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. That same year, he signed a contract with the San Diego Chargers Football team; however an early injury sidelined a promising NFL career.
Since 1970, Ron has been the founding publisher of Buffalo Fine Print News. He also provides photo and video consulting services. His professional and civic memberships include: Broadway Area Business Association (Past President); President, NU-Buff Sportsman Club; President, Fillmore Councilmatic District Block Club Coalition; Past President, Board of Block Clubs Buffalo Erie Count; Grass Roots, Inc; member of United Neighborhoods; Wincrest Sportsman Club; National Football League Retired Players Association Buffalo Chapter Corresponding Secretary.
Ron has received numerous awards including: Black Achievers in Industry Award (1995) from 1490 Enterprises, Inc.; Families Helping Families 2000, United Sates Marine Corps Community Service Award (1972) and the United States Navy Recruiting Service Award. He has also been the producer and host of Building a Decent Future, WKBW-TV, from 1975 to 1981 and producer and host of “Fleming Report” on WUFO Radio from 1988 to 1997.
Ron and his wife, Carolyn have been married for 39 years and have ten children; Ronald II, Solomon, Jasmin, Nimrod, Jade and Jewell (twins), Joy, Janicka, Jafrica and Jamaica.
