The UB Green Library, located in the Service Building (220 Winspear Avenue) on the University at Buffalo South Campus, contains a collection of books, magazines, videotapes and files on various energy, sustainable design, and environmental issues. These may be used in the resource room or borrowed. An on-line listing of resource materials is available. Hours are generally, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, though calling first is a good idea to make sure staff is there and the room is open, 829-3535.

| UB Pesticide Report (2000) |

This report addresses concerns about spraying lawn pesticides on campus and successfully argued that the use lawn pesticides should be discontinued on scientific, health, and environmental grounds. The report also presented integrated pest management alternatives.

| A Close Look at UB's Trash Stream (1998) |

This report was prepared by six exceptional students enrolled in an environmental internship during the Spring 1998 semester. A variety of methods were used to determine the potential for additional recycling at UB, including a massive dumpster dive of one day's worth of UB's trash which was dumped in front of the UB Student Union!

Students enrolled in an Environmental Audit course conducted a comprehensive environmental audit of Buffalo's City Hall and produced this report.

| Comprehensive report on UB'S Energy Conservation Program (1996) |
 |
Conducted by an independent research organization, the IRT Results Center, this report chronicles in detail the history and accomplishments of UB's energy conservation program. It concluded that the program's annual energy savings in 1996 were $9 million and that cumulative savings exceeded $60 million since the onset of the program in the late 1970s.

| UB Campus Environmental Audit (1995) |

The authors of this comprehensive audit of UB's campus environmental impact were twenty environmental studies students enrolled in our first environmental audit class. Described by many as the best class they took at UB, the effort was spearheaded by undergraduate Julie Barrett. Political Science Professor Claude Welch and UB Energy Officer served as advisors.
