UB SWAP

During the spring 1998 semester, a team of dedicated, fun-loving, environmentally committed students, participated in an independent study and prepared two reports on campus recycling:

UB's Trash Stream -- What Can We Recycle and Why Are We Throwing It Out
A Close Look at UB's Residence Halls -- Recycling and Energy Conservation

The students were Erin Cala, Meghan Fay, Jodi Freilich, Robert Horvath, Robert Nash, Randi Mail. Their UB Trash Stream study involved a giant dumpster dive in front of the UB Student Union.

In 1995, students enrolled in an environmental audit class conducted an environmental audit of UB which included a section on recycling.

In 1997, another class of students researched recycling as part of an environmental audit of Buffalo's City Hall.
