UB Recycling Program
UB is committed to recycling and to continually improving its recycling program in all areas on campus. Our recycling policy goal is to recycle 50% of our solid waste stream. We are currently recycling over 30%. New York State law and Executive Order No. 142 also require State agencies to achieve a 50% recycling rate, assuming cost-effective markets for recyclables exist.
