A partial listing of the staff is provided below.  Some will assist the lead instructor in providing training, or will be involved with course materials development or, recruitment.

• Paul J. Kostyniak, Ph.D., DABT; Center Director; Overall responsibility for the program and assists in curriculum design and instruction, especially in Toxicology.
• Joseph A. Syracuse, Ph.D.; Hazardous Materials Education Program Director; Responsible for day to day operations and curriculum design, also instructs in selected programs.
• Matthew Martin; Full time instructor and course developer.
• Allen Standard; Full time instructor and course developer.
• Dave Thomason; Full time instructor and course developer.
• Hartley F. Hutchins, Jr., CIH, CSP; Part time instructor and Course Developer.
• Heidi Reisman, CIH; Part time instructor.
• Dale R. Jerge, M.S., M.S.P.M., RPIH, OHST, REP, CSM, COPT, COHC

The personnel listed above are the main instructors currently in use by the TRC-HMWTP.  Other consultants and contractors are available as needed for hazard specific courses.  They bring a wide range of expertise and practical field experience to our training staff. They include contractors with expertise in environmental remediation (e.g., asbestos and lead abatement, underground storage tank removal, etc.).  These instructors have direct field experience in the subject areas in which they teach.
