About Us
The LGBTA meets weekly to discuss upcoming events and issues relating to the group. In addition, there is a Coming Out Support Group (COSG) where members, affiliates and friends can discuss any issues they may have dealing with being gay, or being a friend of someone who is gay. All information is kept strictly confidential, and one on one meetings are available.

If you know of an LGBT student that needs assistance in the campus community due to discrimination within the campus either by other students, faculty, staff or their own family, based on their identification as LGBT and needs assistance please direct them to our office.

The LGBTA has an excellent selection of books and magazines on les/bi/gay/trans issues which is located in our office. In selecting new books for our library, we have attempted to be as inclusive as possible in addressing the needs of people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
We also hold special events thoughout the year. Check the events section to see when the next event is scheduled!
All this aside, the LGBTA is a great place to meet, greet, hang out, and feel comfortable in a safe environment!
The following are descriptions of the regularly scheduled programs we hold.

COSG
Is a peer mediated support group for friends, family members, and GLBT people. Discussions are flexible depending on the needs of the members. There is a heightened level of confidentiality during these meetings.
