I know it's a little long, but just try and read through it quick to see
if you can help out or if anything pertains to you...
-On Tuesday there will be a flyering party with FREE PIZZA. We will flyer
the North Campus togther on Tuesday night after Constitution comitee @
7PM. It would really really help LGBA so please consider coming! Let me
reiterate that there will be FREE PIZZA. FREE FREE FOOD! contact joshua @

-There will be no Melissa Ethridge trip because there are no group rates.
Some members, however, are still going indpendently. (I think Melissa
(Rada, not Ethrdige) put a list up in the office for thos ewho are
interested...)
-The AIDS walk is this Sunday and people are meeting at 9am outside of the
Student Union. Please email the list serv to let us know if you need a
ride down there. There are still forms in the office so you can get people
to sponsor you if you haven't started yet.
-Coming Out Day is Oct13 (or at least our celebration is...) The
traditinal drag show is in the works (cosponsored by UUAB), Allison
Pipitone is likely to play, and Melissa and Katherine are working on a
presentation about the history of Gays. Conact one of them if yuo are
interested in particpating. We also need a decoration comittee and setup
comittee. Set up starts @ 10:45 if you have the time!! Coming Out Day is
about more then just watching some drag queens in the SU! Help Out!

-Applications for Michele's Amateur Drag Show are in the office. Contat
Michele at mmtucker@acsu... for more about that. We also voted to give a
$50 prize and a VIP pass to Marcellas to the winner (there's more about
that too...just ask michele)
-We voted to spend $1800 to have Leslea Newman give a workshop at our
confrence on Sexuality and Anti-Semitism. For an extra $700 she will do a
workshop on butch/femme, but we are still deciding...
-There is a Confrence Comittee meeting @ 6pm tonight for those who are
interested.
-We voted to spend $50 on the UB Step Troupe (to donate to them) and to
offer the more $$ if they would perform at the confrence
-Lisa is heading up LGBA particpation in CAC's Night Out to raise money
for the homeless. Contact Lisa if interested.
-GLYS night is Oct. 4. Interested parties should contact ech@acsu...
-Constitution Revision Comitee will meet @ 6pm on Tuesday night.
-Applications for office positions are being completed as I write this and
will be available next week.
