LGBTA Meeting Minutes for Thursday, December 5, 2002
Fall 2002 Meeting #12

~Meeting began at 8:14pm in 362 Student Union~

-The meeting Minutes for meeting #11 were approved
-This coming spring, on March 27 at the Delaware park casino, the LGBTA and OUTLAW will be holding a spring banquet with a transgendered issue theme. It will cost $15 for students and $25 for all others.
  We need to do funrdraising for this amongst other things.
Camille Hopkins, the Vice President of Pride Buffalo, for one, will be speaking at this event. Information on other speakers will be posted when it is known.
-Coinceding with the Transgendered theme, we are looking for suggestions on a trendy name for this theme for our banquest.

-Anti-discrimination laws in Buffalo now include Transgendered individuals and issues.
-We held an annonymous survey about this past semester and our club in general.
-The first LGBTA general meeting of the spring 2003 semester will be held on January 16 at 8pm.
-We will not have Mansex or Sirens next semester, although we may be running a new program, also sponsored by Aids Community Services. COSG (Coming Out Support group) will continue next semester as usual.
-Details on the completion of our Out, Loud, and Proud series for the spring semester to come.
