- the conference committee discussed possible co-sponsorships through fellow SA clubs, brainstormed ideas for the keynote speaker, discuessed workshops, fund-raising, advertising, and publicity

- human rights awareness gathering coming up in town, see flyer in the office for more info

- SA video still looking for help with their movie

- memorial for Dr. Slepian coming up; Dr. Slepian was murdered at home for providing abortion services at, among other places, the WomenServices clinic downtown; see flyer in office for more details

- holocaust memorial event coming up, see flyer in office

- SUNY SA will be conducting a conference next spring, see brochure in office for more details

- watch IN THE LIFE on PBS, a documentary on the lives and experiences of gay people when their sexuality becomes an issue

- apply for the SA Honor Roll in the SA office if your GPA is 3.0 or higher

- North Buffalo Food Co-Op has left a number of advertisements in the office, come take a look at them and find out more about what's available there

- a group putting together an event to raise awareness about sweatshops and labor abuses approached LGBA for whatever financial assistance we might be able to provide; unfortunately we ourselves are trying to raise money for our own spring conference, but we did offer to volunteer our time, energy, and anything else we can afford when/if they can use it

- so far this year, working with GLYS has been found to be rewarding by both sides; everyone hopes to continue this relationship next semester

- the counseling center has mentioned an interest in our running a GRASP for their staff...

- Bhavana thanks everyone who came to COSG this semester, and looks forward to continued participation in the spring

- Study Breaker this Sunday evening in the QueerZoo, bring a little something to share; also, be ready to exchange secret santa gifts...e-board meeting immediately preceding the study breaker, be in the QueerZoo at 6:30pm

- hear Amy S. sing tomorrow night with her chorus in Slee Hall at 8pm; they will be performing songs from Handel's Messiah

- membership authorized purchase of pizza for tomorrow's end-of-the-semester COSG meeting
