Meeting MinutesJanuary 22, 2004

Meeting Start Time: 7:02pm

7:02Attendance and previous Minutes passed around.

7:03SISH Expo
- It is during the week of February 2nd.
- We are required to be there on Thursday 5th, and Friday 6th. If we are not there our budget will be frozen.
- Thursday is tabling for “What are we proud of.” If we win, we would receive $50.
- Friday is “You don’t know SISH”. If we win that we would receive $150.

7:06Fundraising
- One good way for fundraising is doing concession stands during games. The Club would be receiving a percentage of the earning.
- We are currently doing Cans and Bottles Drive. Please only bring in bottles and cans that are for NY.

The Award Dinner is coming up and the club with the most fundraising, and community service will receive awards. For specific information please contact Nick R.

7:09Office Decoration
- Special thanks for Nicko for taking his time and money to rearrange our office.
- Opinions of the room’s new arrangement were taken. Result was to change the curtain to a lighter color.
- The office needs to be cleaned and scrubbed. Names of the Volunteers were taken down be Rachel. If you would like to volunteer, and were not at the meeting please contact Rachel.

There are flyers around the message board, please take a look at them to see if any interests you. If you have any flyers that you would like to be posted up there, please give it to one of the e-board members. They will do it for you.

7:20
Their organization caters specifically to women. Meetings possibly start on February. Ryan will keep up posted.

7:21
COSG is still currently to be announced. If anyone needs the program or help, please contact Shaun or Rachel for assistance.

7:21GRASP
- There are some requests for GRASP, and people are needed for the panels. Please contact Rachel for coming up dates, and information.
- Thursday February 26th the general meeting will be cancelled due to a request for GRASP. It will be held in 210 Student Union. Please come to show your support.

7:22Diversity Committee
- They would like to expand on Safe Zone and GRASP programs.
- There will also be Ally, and Train the Trainer programs.
- There will be one on February 2nd 6-10pm Hayes C South Campus.
- Our office is October’s office of the month on a card that will be presented to anyone who goes through all the programs above.

7:29Social Events
- Snow tubing will be changed From Friday February 13th to Saturday February 21st.
- Shaun will keep us updated with the prices, and transportation.
- Possible driver’s if no SA vans: Christine, Ray, Dom, Geoff, and Rachel.

1:36Freedom to Marriage Day
- It was started a couple of years ago. Psychology SA started to d marriage for a day last year, and we are co-sponsoring this event.
- It will be on February 12th, we need people to come and help out.

7:40Art Show
- The artist is planning to come to our Thursday meeting to speak with us about her artwork. That Saturday there would be a Woodlong Cemetery tour.
- We need people to do PR work, and please go enjoy the opening and the tour.

7:42Movie Night
- This week’s movie is “Get Real”
