LGBTA Meeting Minutes for Tuesday, January 21, 2003
Spring 2003 Meeting #2
~Meeting began at 7:59pm in 362 Student Union~
-We had a guest speaker, Adam, come in to talk about the potential tuition hike next year, and issues thereabouts. Nyprg is a group organized to fight the changes and is looking for more support. Postcards are available in the LGBTA office to sign as a form of petition/protest on behalf of Nyprg. They will be meeting in 210 Student Union on February 12, 2003 to explain what exactly is going on, and to gather people to volunteer to march in protest.
-The LGBTA will be tabling on February 28 from 10am to 3pm in lieu of "Wellness Day." We will need some people available at that time to represent the club at the table.
-Sign up for the trip to Toronto will be closed on Friday, 1/24.
