the Buffalo community that, while we do not currently work with, are
provided to inform the University community of opportunities they
may pursue as well as provide general information about being a
volunteer and advice on what to know when donating to charities. This
page also serves to provide any club resources such as election
applications to members to download.

Guidelines and Ratings when Donating to Charities
Give.orgAn informational database on numerous charities and other organizations that solicit donations nationally. Also includes advice of how to donate to charities properly and safely. Provided by the Better Business Bureau.
Charity NavigatorAn independent, non-profit organization
that provides financial data on many charities such as how much of
each dollar goes to what services. It ranks charities, based on the
charities' publicly available IRS Form 990 filings, by their "efficiencies" of providing charitable services compared to various costs such as employee salaries.
