1) Nick-Faculty eliminated Comprehensive Exams

2) Elizabeth-ANNUAL REVIEW OF GRADUATE STUDENTS will replace        exams

• Stringent qualifying paper and realistic reviews of students in Spring every year
• Results should be informed to students
• Policies are being written to weed out certain students and students do not know who they are.
• Only Department of Sociology that does not have a comprehensive Exam

• End of year Party on May 12th-  2007

Barbeque is considered as an option
