The Department of Psychology has as its defining characteristic and distinguishing mission the conduct and communication of research and scholarship that contributes to the scientific understanding of psychology and the provision of high-quality graduate education Social Psychology Research in Actionand training in the profession of psychology. In order to maintain the highest standards in research and graduate training, the department’s resources are focused on selected sub-fields within the broad discipline of psychology.
