| About the Cognitive Science Center
At UB we have an active Cognitive Science community, and students in the Cognitive Psychology Doctoral Program can opt for a specialization in Cognitive Science - the Cognitive Science Track. In addition, both faculty and students are full participants in one of the most active and dynamic broadly based cognitive science communities anywhere in the world. At UB there is truly an active community of scholars who have homes in a variety of departments and also membership in the internationally recognized Center for Cognitive Science.Students in Cognitive Psychology participate in Cognitive Science colloquia and are welcome to make use of the many opportunities to take classes and do research with faculty and students in other participitating departments associated with the center. All cognitive Psychology faculty are members of the Cognitive Science Center.
