Summary of Research Interests:

Research interests focus on the biological basis of appetitive motivation and reward; specific research areas include the study of psychomotor stimulant and opioid effects; experimental methods include chemical and electrical brain stimulation, intracranial and intravenous drug self-administration, microinjection techniques, and neurochemical analysis; other research interests include drug addiction, motivational theory, and biological psychiatry.
