The Surgical Grand Rounds Series is designed to provide staff, residents, fellows and physicians in the surrounding community of Western New York interested in the treatment and management of surgical patients with current information relevant to evaluating clinical problems and improving outcomes. Priorities for initial and current therapy will be stressed in prevention, diagnosis and state of the art treatment modalities. Following the program, participants should be able to: 1) Translate the current information into clinical applications; 2) Identify and maintain multidisciplinary relationships and information needed to provide quality patient care; and 3) Understand the role of outcome research in improving the quality of solid surgical patient care.
