Required
Courses
Medicine is a science and an art. it is important that students obtain
a broad general education. In addition to specific scientific and
academic prerequisites, students should develop an educational background
designed to enjoy life and its varied experiences. Contrary to popular
belief, it is not necessary to be a science major to be admitted.

Recommended Courses
Social
Science
Studies in this area are considered as important for prospective
medical students as are further courses in the physical and biological
sciences. Two full years of work in the social sciences is recommended.
Humanities
An additional year of study from among the wide choices available
in the humanities is recommended.
