Interview Time
Chief Residents are allowed up to 1 week (7 days) for fellowship/job interviews. Anytime needed above this is taken from the resident's vacation time.

Residents will be granted up to six (6) weeks of maternity and up to two (2) weeks paternity leave. Maternity/Paternity leave will start on the date of delivery.
Please be advised that the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology stipulates that you may not have more than a total of 8 weeks of absence during your PGY-I, II and III years, no more than 6 weeks of absence during your chief year, and no more than 20 weeks of absence over all four years. This is inclusive of all forms of absence such as vacation, sick time, conferences/interviews and maternity/paternity leave. Your Conference and Interview week allotment may not be used for maternity/paternity leave.
