Resident Research
Research is also a critical part of our resident training program, and PGY II includes a research module during which residents focus on their individual research projects. The Department has a cohesive research training plan, consisting of monthly lectures, journal clubs, and research workshops. Residents are encouraged to present their research at local, national, and international meetings, and several residents have their studies published as both abstracts and full length articles.
Resident Research Day
Resident Research Day is a celebration of the research endeavors of our residents. PGY III give oral presentations of their research projects which they have undertaken during their time in Buffalo. The best presentations, as judged by the Visiting Professor, are awarded prizes at graduation.
