Education
Clerkships
A six-week clinical clerkship offers each student an opportunity for personal firsthand experience in the care of both normal and abnormal pregnancy. Experience gained by working with patients is reviewed in group conferences and on ward rounds. Concepts not readily observed during the direct patient contact are emphasized in special conferences.
Fellowships
The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program is a four-year accredited program. Fellows work within Roswell Park Cancer Institute, performing basic research and gaining expertise in clinical and surgical practice.
The Advanced Gynecologic Robotics Fellowship is an excellent opportunity to develop acumen in clinical and surgical practice and to gain extensive robotic surgery training.
Residency Program
Our residents work and learn within a cohesive complex that includes four area hospitals, each of which offers unique medical experiences where residents have extensive exposure to general gynecology and obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures. To complement our clinical experiences, the Department continues to expand on a solid research base and residents will have access to work with faculty members on any number of research projects.
