2004 Annual Resident's Retreat

Thank you for allowing and encouraging the annual resident's retreat.
This year our retreat was held at the Game Zone Bowling Alley where the three teams faced off: PGY-1 vs. PGY-2 vs. PGY-3 across all sites.  Each team was further divided into lane teams of four (one resident from each site). The PGY-3 team was the winner of a $100.00 gift card from Wegmans to plan their next social event. The PGY-2 and 1 teams each also received a $50.00 gift card, again to encourage further socialization.
Throughout the afternoon I was able to meet with each class as a group to hear feedback and praises about our program.
The afternoon ended with a social hour at the Glen Park Tavern where quite a few faculty joined in.

My goal was to begin to blur the lines between our sites and to develop a class spirit  across our department.

Many thanks to Pam and to Donna for the great planning effort that included T-shirts, prizes and arranging.  Also thanks to the faculty who manned the services without residents!
