The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) is directed by Roseanne C. Berger, M.D., Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education.  The office serves to coordinate the residency and fellowship training programs sponsored by the University at Buffalo.
           
The University at Buffalo currently sponsors sixty-eight (68) residency and fellowship training programs educating residents in ten affiliated hospitals as well as community-based locations. 

Responsibilities of the Office of GME include:

  1. Program Evaluation and Accreditation
  2. Resident and fellow orientation
  3. Credentialing
  4. Resident Human Resources
  5. Oversight of resident education

Our first priority is to assist residents and fellows.  All members of the office staff are available to respond to residents’ concerns or questions.  We welcome your calls.

The Office of Graduate Medical Education is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We are located on the South Campus of the University at Buffalo:
