Educational Activities - Core Curriculum in Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series
A new weekly seminar series in clinical and translational research is being offered on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus beginning in the fall. The seminar series is designed to follow the core competencies in clinical and translational research defined by the National CTSA consortium. Fourteen thematic areas will be covered by faculty in the Buffalo Translational Consortium.
Certificates will be issued to those participating in one or more components of the Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series. Attending a minimum of two lectures will satisfy the requirement for the GME Research Master Session. Attendance may fulfill research didactic requirements in residency/fellowship programs (consult with your program director). Continuing Medical Education credits are available for physician faculty.
The intended audience is anyone with an interest in or who is involved in conducting clinical and translational research. This includes:
• Clinical fellows
• Research fellows
• Residents
• Faculty
• Graduate students in all health related disciplines
• Study coordinators
