Committees/Meetings - Coordinator Meetings

Annual Program Coordinators Meeting

The annual program coordinators' meeting is held in February of each year and is mandatory for all coordinators. This comprehensive meeting includes coordinator activities directed toward incoming and graduating residents and fellows. Important university, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures are reviewed and updated; existing processes are reviewed; and new processes are introduced and in-serviced.

Program Coordinators Workshops

System-wide program coordinator/administrator workshops are held twice a year. The first meeting is held directly after the annual program coordinators' meeting, and the second is held in late summer/early fall.

These workshops focus on ACGME accreditation requirements and reviewing the procedures required by the GME office through discussion and in-depth training. Sharing best practices in the management of the day-to-day activities of the program administrator/coordinator is featured.

Specialized workshops focusing on program Information forms (PIF) and site visit preparation are offered twice a year, as well as workshops for new coordinators/administrators.
