Buffalo General Hospital is a 511-bed acute care medical center located at 100 High Street, Buffalo. A major affiliate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Buffalo General offers medical treatment in a wide spectrum of clinical inpatient departments and outpatient programs. Specialized programs include cardiac and orthopedic surgery; lithotripsy and urology; psychiatry, gynecology/obstetrics; dialysis; gastroenterology; cardiac rehabilitation; rehabilitation medicine; kidney and pancreas transplantation, neurology and neurosurgery.

The Women & Children's Hospital is the Western New York regional center for specialized pediatric care and women's health services. Children's Hospital is also committed to continuing medical education as the only pediatric teaching hospital for the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Millard Fillmore Gates Circle is an 189-bed acute care medical center located near Delaware Park in Buffalo. A major affiliate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Millard Fillmore Gates Circle offers treatment in a wide spectrum of clinical inpatient departments and outpatient programs. Specialized programs include world class neurological and stroke care services, in-patient geriatric hospitalization services, outpatient geriatric care services, cardiac and orthopedic surgery, cardiac catheterization, lithotripsy and urology, gastroenterology, a long-term and sub acute short-term skilled nursing facility, cardiac rehabilitation and rehabilitation medicine.

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital is a 201 bed community hospital located in Amherst, one of Western New York’s fastest growing suburbs. Opened in 1974, the hospital offers services in emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and many surgery specialties such as urology, otolaryngology, and orthopedics, internal medicine, and many medical subspecialties, family practice, and geriatrics. The Suburban hospital also supports residency training programs of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, general surgery, urology, and obstetrics and gynecology, and family practice.

Sisters of Charity Hospital is a fully accredited, non-profit general hospital dedicated to excellence in medical care and education that is located in central Buffalo .Part of the Catholic Health System in Western New York, it has a modern emergency and outpatient department, and a skilled nursing facility. The critical care unit has 16 beds, any one of which can be used for isolation purposes. In 2000, the hospital opened a spacious new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, one of the most advanced facilities of its kind. Our hospital cares for thousands of patients each year in its units of cancer services, Sisters special birthplace, Wildermuth Reproductive Research & Treatment Center, Critical care services and the Emergency Department.

The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) provides medical, surgical, mental health and long-term care services through a full range of inpatient and outpatient programs. It is the main referral center for cardiac surgery, cardiology and comprehensive cancer care for Central and Western New York and Northern Pennsylvania. The VAWNYHS is academically affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has a full-service emergency department, a newly-remodeled critical care unit, a spacious gastroenterology center, surgery, maternity, pediatrics, laboratory and radiology services, cardiac, pulmonary and physical rehabilitation programs, and kidney dialysis. As the county's only teaching hospital, the Medical Center also benefits from 24-hour coverage by resident physicians from the State University at Buffalo School of Medicine who are enrolled in Memorial's Family Practice Residency program
