The UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for CME (ACCME) to provide CME for physicians. The CME Office also works with the American Academy of Family Physicians when programs are eligible for prescribed credit.

UB sponsors CME programs such as grand rounds, lecture series, in-service and life support courses; journal clubs, symposia and conferences throughout western New York.
