Accessing Course Content
Instructors are able to upload any type of computer file into their UBlearns course. In order to open or read these files you will need to have the appropriate software, plug-in, or player.
Plug-ins and players
Most plug-ins and players are available on the UB Tech Tools software download site or the CD available from UBMicro.
Microsoft Office
All UB students have access to the Microsoft Office suite to open files posted using Microsoft Office or similar software (e.g., DOC, XLS, PPT). Microsoft Office suite can be obtained at UBMicro.
Other formats
Your instructor may provide course content in other formats. You will need to have appropriate software to open these files. Your instructor will likely tell you what software you will need and how to get it.
