Adding an Item

Items are pieces of content added to a course. Documents may be attached to Items.  Items may be added to any content area, such as Course Documents or Course Information.

Add an Item

  1. Select Control Panel, then Course Documents.
  2. Click on the Item icon from the menu bar.
  3. Enter the Item Name in the Name field.
  4. To attach a file, select Browse next to Attach Local File. Select the file on your local system, or from a networked drive, and add it by clicking Open.
  5. Complete the Name of Link to File field. This is the name that appears to users. Select this link to open the attached file.
  6. Complete the options in Section 3, then click Submit.
