Setting Access for Persons Not Affiliated with UB
A non-affiliated person is one who is not a faculty, staff or currently-enrolled student.
If you want a person who is not affiliated with UB to participate in your course, you must request an exception account for that person.
Send the following information to ublearns@buffalo.edu:
- Course ID
- Full name of non-affiliated person
- Email address of non-affiliated person
- DD MM of birth date of non-affiliated person
- A statement by the requestor accepting the responsibility for the non-affiliated person.
By default the person will be enrolled as a student. You may Modify the User Role.
