Enrolling Users
Automatically
Registered students are automatically enrolled in courses which are listed in the online course schedule. Students will be removed automatically if they drop the class. Updates are done on a nightly basis.
Manually
Instructors may enroll any UB student, faculty, or staff into a course. To grant a non-UB affiliated person to get full access to your course, see Setting Access for Persons Not Affiliated with UB. Instructors will set the role for each user who is manually enrolled.
To manually enroll a user to a course:
- Select Control Panel > Enroll User
- Use the search box to locate the individual
- Click the box next to the name > click Submit > OK
By default, users are enrolled with the role of Student. To change this see Modify User Roles.
Note: Subject Librarians can be enrolled into UBlearns courses to provide research assistance for course content and information literacy support for students.
