UB's Urban-Renewal

What is Urban Renewal SA?

Urban Renewal Student Association is an ambitious, non-profit organization operating under the Student Association of the University at Buffalo, which was formerly recognized by the university on February 12, 2007.

It was established after Spring Break of 2006, in response to Hurricane Katrina. Since then, Urban Renewal Student Association has been working on recovering New Orleans, by traveling during spring breaks, in conjunction with national recognized organizations to improve the city.

In addition, Urban Renewal Student Association has been participating in helping the Buffalo community, through various volunteer programs in the mission to promote and maintain better housing in our urban communities. URSA also advocates and takes initiative in informing the student community on environmental issues in the city of Buffalo.  Email This Page!
