Undergraduate Biology Association

The Undergraduate Biology Association has been the official biology club at UB for over twelve years. The UBA aims to facilitate communication between faculty and students, to foster a camaraderie among biology students, and to help students utilize the vast RESEARCH opportunities that are available to them in this university.

Past Events:

The UBA has participated in many social and community activities at the university. Examples from the past year include Diabetes Walk, Boys & Girls Club, Tutoring for Bio 200 and 201, joining fellow premed clubs for the Prehealth Picnic and catering for the annual biology commencement.

Future Events:

We are currently in the process of revising the Undergraduate Biology Handbook, which we also hope to have available online. We plan to do more community service activities, and continue the tutoring program especially devoted to biology classes. We will continue to have guest speakers and fireside chats with your favorite professors. Other ideas include attending science conferences, and Biology Career Fairs. We would LOVE to hear your suggestions, so either come to a meeting or email us (Contact the UBA section). Some events that are planned for this semester are in the Calender and Events section!!
