EXECUTIVE BOARD 08-09

President: Eileen Zamor

My name is Eileen Zamor. I am a junior and this year's President of UB Step Troupe (UBST). I have been on UBST since Freshman year. During my second year, I was on e-board as 07-08 Activities Coordinator. I love UBST and stepping, it means a lot to me! People will understand what I mean when and if they join the team. We are one big family that has way too much fun when we are together! During the 07-08 academic year, we had about 40 members on the team (yes I know, a very huge number). In the end everything worked out fine. I am looking forward to being with my new e-board and a having wonderful and challenging year and winning SISH Club of the Year, AGAIN!!!! (LOL)
Vice President: Ashley Haigler

I'm Ashley Haigler also know as Ms. Imperious; I am the Vice President for our Executive Board of 08-09. My saying is: A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation, with the bricks others have thrown at them. My hopes for UBST this year, is to take what has been accomplished from previous years and use that as a paving stone for what we will build for this year; In Our motto UBST strive to be the best and our purpose for this year is to continue to build our legacy and to have a successful year. To my fellow E-board members, I want us to rely on one another this year. It is our responsibility to learn from the experiences we will go though, and with that experience I want us to do the very best we can. If we can do this, UBST 08-09 will have the best year ever!!!

I am a Political Science Major. I love politics, waffles with peanut butter, hanging out with my friends (Summer '08) and being of great service to the community. I am an active member of the Black Student Union. I have been involved with UB Step Troupe for only a year and I am grateful to have the opportunity to be Treasurer.

My name is Fionna and I am the 08-09 Publicity Coordinator. I have been apart of UB Step Troupe since fall of 2007. I am known as Double Dealer because of my persona of not wanting to be apart of a group, but UBST has become one of the most special parts of my college experience. I hope to provide 08-09 with highest quality publicity to make this year one of the best in UBST history.

I've been on UBST for a year before becoming Co-Step Coordinator for 2008-2009. I am a Theater and Dance major and the love I have for what I do is very strong. I hope to continue sharing my passion and to be a role model for those who may not have one.

Spring Extravaganza Delegate: Lauren Morris

My name is Lauren C. Morris. I'm from Brooklyn, New York. I am currently a junior with the intended major of Occupational Therapy. I'm elated to be a member of 08-09 UBST EBoard under the newly formed title, SE Delegate. Although I was never a member of UBST,I have previously served as extended eboard in the past. This is my first formal position on any eboard. My aspiration for this year's team and Spring Extravaganza goes above and beyond what has previously been done in the past. I strong believe that 08-09 eboard is competent enough to handle any endeavors ahead. Because "Now is the time to recognize,realize, and respect, that UBST is perfection and we strive to be the BEST!"
