GOAL: UBTV was created to bring weekly news and information that
affects every student on campus.
STAFF: Communication Students and Media Studies majors are mostly
enrolled in producing the show, however anybody is welcome to
join. Click here if you are interested.
CONTENT
1- HEAD STORIES: The show starts with generally 3 important head
stories that are realtively important to the life on campus. 6
minutes long.
2- YOUR WORD: The show follows then with a weekly issue that
is brought to the attention of students. Students are asked questions
on camera allowing them to express their opinion. FREE SPEECH
FOR ALL!!!!!!!! 3 minutes long
3- WHO'S WHO: The segment focuses on a UB worker or even student
who somehow impacts the everyday lives of our students, or who
offers a certain service students are unaware of
4- DOLLARS AND SENSE: The segment brings attention to students
on how to live cheap to smoothly transition the departure of Dad
and Mom's dependence to independent University life. 2 minutes
long.
5- BUFFALO MUSIC SCENE: Like the title self-explains the segment
reports on music opportunities in the city Buffalo. Each week
a band or music artist is showcased. 2 minutes.
6- NIGHLIFE: Report on the nightlife in Buffalo. Each week a
new entertainment house is advertised.
7- ARTZY FARTZY: Showcase of the art scene in Buffalo.
8-SA CLUB OF WEEK: Student Association Clubs are showcased in
a 1 to 2 minute ad, to inform students SA services they might
not be aware of.
9-SPORTS RECAP: A recollection of all UB and Sports Club scores
and performances the previous week.
10- COMING UP: A promotional segment showing all events coming
up in the week ahead of the aired NEWS SHOW.
