There
are many opportunities for students to get first hand research
experience. The Department of Psychology has state-of-the-art laboratory
facilities in language comprehension, auditory and speech perception,
memory, ADHD, social interactions, personality, emotion, anxiety disorder,
small-group processes, behavioral therapy, psychophysiology and
biofeedback, behavioral medicine, and neurochemical and
electrophysiological aspects of psychology.
There are various ways to take advantage of these opportunities. You
could look at the faculty web pages, speak with your psychology advisor,
attend research opportunity workshops help by the student organizations or
the department, or take a look at department postings within Park Hall
(primarily 2nd and 3rd floors).
