High Ropes

On April 11th, 26 brave, tired, and cold OAC'ers trekked out to Bolton Landing NY, home of Adirondack Extreme and the inaugural OAC High Ropes trip. The people at Adirondack Extreme do exceptional work, and it's a great thing to do almost all year round. I recommend it for anybody who likes playing around in trees, those who want to conquer their fear of heights, or anybody who's just looking to have a good time. It's self belayed so you can go through at your own pace as long as there's no traffic ahead of you. There were 4 courses, the Green, Blue, Red, and Black, each more difficult than the last. Some highlights of the course were the skateboard ride, tightrope walk, monkey bars, olympic rings, the many zip lines, and of course the "Leap of Faith" which is a rope swing into a cargo net. A good time was had by all and everybody came back a little sore, but with a big grin on their faces too.
