PaintballingOn Sunday September 14th we played paintball at POW paintball fields in Ransomville, New York. It was supposed to be a rainout of a day, but it was beautiful muggy September day. For 4 hours we played with much needed water breaks. We played woodsball, with plenty of and trees and other barriers forcover. They also offered a speedball field with blow up barriers but the wind took this option away. This was probably for the better since you tend to go through a lot of paint. New and experienced players got to play together as we played elimination and capture the flag games. We also played Manhunt where Tom and Ben went and hid in the woods while the rest hunted the deadliest game of all; MAN. We introduced the owner to a new game which we called "Revolutionary War" where you were only allowed to have as much ammo as you could carry and balls had to be loaded one at a time, musket style. Good times were had by all, and the fields are open every Sunday as long as the weather is nice. |
