Florida Spring Break 2008!

OAC returned to Florida for the annual drive toward the sun. Barely beating out a snow storm that would close the 90, the club made it safely to the Ferry to Cayo Costa for six days of relaxing under the sun. The experience of Cayo Costa came complete with sandy beaches, coconuts, shells, crabs, dancing, marshmellows (and good eatin'), along with the occasional heat rash and run in with poison ivy. Missing was the alligator and the Bores. After six days on the island members were shipped back by ferry to the mainland and the club moved to make a nights camp in the most Southern part of the Everglades. In the morning we snorkeled off of Key Largo in Pennekamp State Park where we saw several barracudas, the statue of Jesus, and plenty of coral reef. Finally the club drove safely back to Buffalo.
