Rafting the Black River The club made the long trip to Watertown to raft the Black the mighty Black River. The Black River has class three and four rapids and is one of the few rivers that is raftable all summer long. The good guides of the Hudson River Rafting Company showed us a roudy ride as I believe everyone swam at least once. The weather was good and the water was decently high. We also got two nights of camping in where camp fire stories were pentiful, the frisbee was flying, and most of the rain was avoided.
