As told by the ever happy LGBA Secretary, Liz. - If you want to play softball during the summer, Frank Pellicone, who is a prof. here at UB, and a really nice guy, is running it this year. See him if you're interested, or e-mail fp@acsu.buffalo.edu - Toy donations are being accepted, so if you have any old toys you want to donate, ask for more information in the SA office. (350 S.U.) - Ooozfest is fast approaching, and teams need to be formed....if you're interested, see Jen Mages. - Sean Sasser (Pedro Zamora's lover...from Real World 3) is speaking on April 14th.... You need to pre-sign-up by March 30th. They also need volunteers, and LGBA will be volunteering as a group. - SISH meeting on 3/4 at 5pm. - Albany Conference....Jill needs (needed) your money by 3/4. If you didn't give her money, you're on your own registering and trying to get there. E-mail her for more info... jeduffy@acsu.buffalo.edu - The Thrift Sale was a big success! We made $198! Thanks to everyone who donated! If you bought clothes and still haven't payed, see Tina Cruz ASAP! - March 22nd, there is a hate crimes rally in Albany. $20 will get you everything...transportation, etc., etc. This is being run by Empire State Pride Agenda....see Jill for more info. - 50/50 raffle is underway.... it would be WONDERFUL if everyone sold at least 10 tickets, and of course, you can sell as many as you want. See me (Liz) for more info.. If you're not going to sell any, at least buy one...or two....or three... They're only $1, so help out! - CONFERENCE... If you are a UB student, the conference is absolutely free due to the cancellation of Marriott, and some last minute fund-raising efforts by the conference committee... HOWEVER, you MUST sign up for the conference by March 19th....the sheet is hanging up behind the desk on the conference bulletin board... Please also mark if you will be attending the banquet. The banquet has a "best dressed" contest where you can win $50....best dressed is whatever you think that means! If you have any friends that want to come to the conference, you need to sign them up as well....if they are UB students, it's free....if they're not, but want to come to the banquet, it's $15 for them. Everyone have a nice break!
