The Mail: - Community Action Corps needs colunteers for their Children's Carnival on March 20th. LGBA as a whole will be taking part, so look in the office for more info. on this coming soon. In the meantime, my favorite line, ask Jill for more details. :-)

- We recieved a post card about some women-themed foreign films. When/If we have money in the future, we'll look into maybe purchasing some for the library.

- Colors... a newsletter from Multicultural Affairs? There is an article by a lesbian speaker in here, fyi, if you're bored, and suddenly want some reading material.

- Kristin Griswald, a student at Union College, is doing research on depression and coming out in bisexual and lesbian women. (as oppposed to lesbian men) We ordered some questionairres to fill out to help her with her study. If you want to fill on out (you must be between 19...and? and female) let Jill know.

- Audrey Lord Project...they want us to purchase an advertisement. We would, however, we're broke.

- AIESC is having a meeting on March 3rd. Jill reccommends this if you want to study abroad.

- UB Gospel Choir would like us to advertise with them. Same deal, no money.

- International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission would like us to advertise... seeing a pattern here?

- Leadership Opportunities meeting today at 3pm. See, if you would have come to the meeting, you would have known this.

- Student Activities transcript.... if you're planning on going to grad school, this is important. Get a form from student life, and keep it updated EVERY SEMESTER. If you are an active member of LGBA, just have Jill sign it.

- Albany Conference.... the dealine to register is March 15th, which means you should probably do it before you go on break, which happens next friday. So, there will be a sign up in the office. Bessie the gay mobile will be going, and so far, I believe I personally have two people in my car. (Jill and Lisa?) FYI, the conference is April 16-18. There will be a sign up in the office soon to make this more organized. I'm sure more people than just us three are going to go. Mail me or Jill if you want to go.
correction: Liz's solo with the Percussion Ensemble will happen April 17th, so she is no longer able to go. However, several others I'm sure will be attending.

- Hartwick College... they have decided to nix the whole deadline to register thing, and you can just show up at the conference. The cost is $25, whish DOES NOT include lodging. Michele and I are going, and my brithday is March 13, so who knows, maybe we'll just have a big party in the hotel for me, and won't you feel like a jerk if you're not there? I thought so.

- Wells College....this weekend is their conference. See Jill for more info. :-) (i.e., Liz doesn't know anything about it)

- we will be ordering some more buttons and stickers and all sorts of other gay stuff as soon as we figure out what's left of our budget.

- BRING YOUR CLOTHES FOR THE THRIFT SALE!!!!!!!!! We can't pull this off unless people start bringing in stuff! We have 6 tables, and only have anough stuff for 1 table.

- The Conference is coming up, which means there will be lots of "busy work" in the office. please help us out if we ask you to do something. It will be mindless chores like stuffing envelopes, hanging fliers, etc. so you can continue hanging out which helping out!

- there has been a lot of "uncomfortableness" in the office lately. We all have issues, we're all human beings. We don't all "just get along" all the time. But please don't drag the entire office into it. If you have an issue to discuss with another LGBA member, please take it out in the hall.

- Wish Jill and Tina luck in our budget proposal meeting on Thursday! Their impression will decide our budget for next semester!
