  • This Friday 2/12, National Freedom to Marry Day. We'll be handing out Stickers and Fliers, and sharing a table with Community Action Corps. We need people to colunteer all day, so see Jill if you want to.

  • Black Student Union "Night of Love", which is a Dinner/Dance/ type thing. $10 for a booth, $6 for couples, $4 for singles. Will benefit the Children's Hospital Fund. We voted approoved a $50 donation.

  • SBI meeting will happen on Tuesday, February 16.

  • Life Workshops, look for the calendar in the office hanging up.

  • Oozefest Teams... minimum of 6, maximum of 8. To participate, I guess it's $110 a team?

  • Baha'I Club, Monday 2/15 from 7-9, a workshop on "The Power of Unity"

  • The Nancy Welsh Award - Volunteerism award, see Jill if you'd like to enter.

  • Volunteers are needed for the Children's Carnival on March 20th. See Jill for details or to volunteer.

  • Creative Crafts, this cool little known thing at our school, is doing projects to honor Black History Month. They have a website, but I don't remember the address. Search under "Creative Crafts Center" on the main UB page. ( http://www.buffalo.edu )

  • Monday, February 22nd, we'll be hanging with GLYS. It's at the YWCA at 190 Franklin. There should be a caravan of people going. See Jill for details.

  • The Lizzard Ball, starring Alison Pipitone, who is gay btw, and Mexican Cession, just to name a few is happening at Hamlin House on Saturday 2/13 from 9pm til 2:30am. A whole bunch of people are going so just ask around.

  • BENT, a gay themed play is going on at Studio Arena. Call them for more details.

  • Saturday 2/13 "Cutie L'il Dyke Bands" (and I don't know if it's really called that, but it's what Peter wrote!) are playing at Compton's.

  • GGALA is going to attempt to restart. The first meeting is 2/22 at 12pm in the office. Undergrads are more than welcome to join as well.
