  • New officers were introduced, and are as follows:
    • Jill Duffy, President
    • Amy Sorrentino, Vice President
    • Tina Cruz, Treasurer
    • Liz Holland, Secretary
    • Peter Bruschi, Special Projects Coordinator
    • Michele Tucker, Office Manager

    Please see these officers with any concerns you may have!

  • New Meeting times are set for Wednesdays at 2pm. Sorry for those of you who this doesn't work for, but it is impossible to please everyone!

  • When taking phone calls, please refer to specific officer times they are in the office, and tell the caller to call back at that time.

  • No One is allowed to touch the mail in the SA office except for Liz! Don't Touch!

  • The library is dwindling fast, so please if you take a book, return it! Also, you must write down that you have the book on the dry-erase on the abinet, or let Michele know. If not, library privledges will be revoked.

  • Please clean up after yourself in the office. Office Manager title does not mean maid, and Ms. Vanilla Tokyo will get on your ass. If problems continue with a particular person in the office, your eating privledges in the office will be revoked.

  • To get on the listserv, please put a message in Liz's box, or mail her. KEEP THE MAIL YOU RECIEVE WHEN YOU ARE ADDED! This will inform you on how to get back off the list. If you do misplace it, you can add and remove yourself from the website.

    Please keep the listserv for news type messages, or urgent messages. For general chat, use the newsgroup!

  • If you have not yet heard, Wilson Cruz is no longer our keynote speaker for the conference. Dan Renzi from The Real World Miami is our new speaker. For any other conference updates, or if you would like to join the committee, please mail Liz or Kim.

  • There are several other LGBT conferences happening throughout the semester. Please check the buletin board behind the desk for fliers and more info.

  • There will be a discussion on UB policies. if you have a particular gripe, look for the flier in the office. You must reply by Jan 29.

  • GLYS night will still be Monday once a month. Please join us! Contact Jill for more info.

  • GRASP will be doing a presentation on February 10 at 7:45. Please contact Tina if you would like to join us, or if you would like more info. on GRASP in general.

  • COSG (Coming Out Support Group) will now be meeting twice a week instead of once. The new times are Mondays at 5pm and Thursdays at 7pm. Please contact Michele or Peter for more info.!

  • Who is left on the Conference Committee?? You must let Liz know asap!

  • We will be doing a thrift sale around the first week of March for a fund-raiser. All those interested in helping out should let Jill know ASAP!

    Also, if you have any other fundraising ideas, speak up!

  • Another fundraiser we're doing is a penny drive. No not Penny, penny, as in the coins! Bring them in, and don't steal them! (yes, it already happened!)

  • Around Valentine's Day, we'll be doing a Freedom to Marry presentation. More info. on this coming soon.

  • If anyone is interested in going to Gay Day at Disney World or Canada's Wonderland, please mail Jay and let him know!
