Meeting MinutesNovember 2, 2004 Meeting Start Time: 7:00pm 7:00Attendance was passed around. 7:02Halloween office decoration Contest - We won second place, and received $200 as fundraising money. - Thank you to those who participated in decorating the office. - After the meeting instead of the usual movie night, we will be taking down the decorations. 7:03Thanksgiving Potluck - The potluck will be held in Flint community lounge on November 20th at 5:30pm - The club will provide the turkey, and people who want to attend show bring side dishes, and everything else to the dinner. - Please sign your name and what you are bringing on the sign-up sheet. - People are welcome to come early to prep food. There is a full kitchen in the community lounge. - Please let the club know if there’s special utensils you need - Other school or organization may possibly come. 7:06Office - We will be taking the decorations down if you want to save anything please let people know before it’s thrown out. - There’s talk about rearranging the office. Please submit a plan to the e-board. - The only rule is the office must preserve the safe space. 7:09Coffee & - Unfortunately the place burned down, and it’s also the owner’s business and his residence. - Due to many of the members hang out there all the time, the e-board is thinking of writing a letter of condolences. If anyone is interested, please contact the e-board. - Thoughts of possibly fundraising money for the owner were expressed. 7:12Clothing & food drive - The food and Clothing drive is still going on, it will end on Friday 5th. - If we get 10 lbs for clothing, and/or 20lbs for food, we will receive one SA participation point for each. 7:13Transgender Conference - The conference will be held on one of the weekend in March, the club would like to be a presence there. - It is sponsored by the Queer club at the University of Vermont. - We are most likely driving individual cars and car-pooling to go there. - If anyone is interested, please contact Shea as soon as possible. 7:16Open Floor - Nothing was brought up.
